Office Pick and Drop and Company Point Service

A point service for one desk or for the whole floor

An office commute of about 15 km each way is Rs 520 a seat per trip, or roughly Rs 22,900 a month for both journeys on 22 working days; the whole vehicle on that route is Rs 780 a trip. Published rates, effective 22 September 2026, last checked 5 October 2026.

A point service is what most Pakistani offices call the van that collects staff in the morning and drops them home at night. Shareide runs the same thing without the company owning a vehicle or employing a driver. One person posts their route and hours and takes a monthly rate; a team posts one route with several pickups and takes a whole vehicle. A 15 km cross-city commute prices at Rs 780 for the whole car and Rs 520 for one of three shared seats, which is about Rs 22,900 a month per seat once you count two trips a day across 22 working days. That figure is fixed when the plan is agreed, so the commute becomes one line in a monthly budget instead of forty-four separate fares.

An office commute is the worst possible use of an on-demand booking. Everyone in the city wants a car in the same forty minutes, twice a day, and a booking made at 8:40 for a 9:00 start is a decision taken at the worst moment to take it. Driving yourself moves the cost rather than removing it: fuel at the pump price, parking in a commercial area, and a car standing idle for the nine hours you are at your desk. Shift work is harder still. A 6am start or an 11pm finish falls in the hours when the fewest drivers are online, which is exactly when a standing arrangement earns its keep, because the driver agreed to that hour before the week began.

What You Actually Get

A whole vehicle for a team, with door pickups

A Hiace seats eight to twelve, a coaster twenty to thirty. Booked as a monthly van plan the vehicle is reserved for your team: every seat gets its own door pickup and the run ends at one destination, your office. Nobody walks to a collection point and nobody waits at a company gate.

Early and late shifts are booked, not searched for

A 6am pickup or a midnight drop is settled when the plan is made, so the driver has committed to that hour before the week starts. It is a different proposition from opening the app at 5:50 and hoping somebody is online in your area.

One rate per seat, so a salary can absorb it

Per-seat pricing splits a car three ways: on a 15 km route that is Rs 520 a seat against Rs 780 for the vehicle. Three colleagues from one neighbourhood each pay about Rs 22,900 a month rather than each paying for a car with two empty seats in it.

Each rider pays their own seat

There is no company account and no invoice to an employer. Every seat is paid by the person sitting in it, by cash, JazzCash, Easypaisa, debit or credit card, or the in-app wallet. A firm that wants to fund the commute pays its staff, not Shareide.

Common Arrangements

Point service for a floorSix or eight colleagues from one area, one vehicle and one arrival time at the office gate, without the company owning the van or employing the driver.
Two legs, one driverMorning in and evening out with the same person on both runs, so the driver learns the gate, the parking bay and how long your road really takes at 6pm.
Rotating shift patternsCall centres, hospitals and factories run swings that change week to week. Post the hours you have been given and take offers against those instead of bending a fixed plan around them.
Whole car for a small teamTwo or three people who always travel together can reserve the car itself rather than buying seats in it, and settle the split between themselves. On a 15 km route that is Rs 780 for the vehicle.

What It Costs

The actual rate card — a plan's per-day figure is agreed against your route

VehicleBasePer kmMinimumSeats
Bike Rs 40 Rs 15 Rs 130 1
Rickshaw Rs 90 Rs 29 Rs 260 2
Car Rs 120 Rs 44 Rs 380 3
AC / Premium Rs 175 Rs 58 Rs 510 3
Carry Daba Rs 130 Rs 38 Rs 510 5
Hiace Rs 290 Rs 73 Rs 800 8

Fare = base + (km × per-km rate) + (minutes × per-minute rate), never below the minimum. A monthly plan does not meter each trip — you and the driver agree one per-day figure for your route, and per-seat sharing divides it. Office Pick and Drop FAQs

What does an office pick and drop cost per month?
Start from the route length. A car is Rs 120 base plus Rs 44 per km with a Rs 380 minimum, so 15 km is Rs 780 for the vehicle and Rs 520 for one of its three seats. A monthly plan is two trips a day across 22 working days, which puts that seat at about Rs 22,900 a month and the whole car at about Rs 34,300. The per-day figure is agreed with the driver against your actual road before the month begins, not metered trip by trip.
Can our company book a point service for staff?
A group can take a whole vehicle for the month, a Hiace for eight to twelve or a coaster for twenty to thirty, with a door pickup for every seat and one shared destination. What Shareide does not do is invoice an employer. Each rider pays for their own seat by cash, JazzCash, Easypaisa, card or the in-app wallet, so a company that wants to cover the commute reimburses its staff rather than settling a bill with us.
Does it work for shift timings outside office hours?
That is where it helps most. Pre-dawn and late-night hours have the fewest drivers online, so a booking made at 5:45am is the least likely of any to be accepted. A plan settles the hour in advance with a driver who agreed to it, and that driver runs it every working day of the month. If your pattern rotates, post the new hours and take fresh offers against them.
Is it cheaper than driving my own car to work?
That depends on your car, your distance and the petrol price on the day, which is why this site carries a fuel cost calculator running on the live PSO rate rather than a figure typed in by hand. What a seat removes is the part people leave out of the sum: parking in a commercial area, and a vehicle you have paid for sitting in a car park all day. Run your own route through the calculator before deciding.
What if I am transferred or my office timing changes?
The rate was agreed against one road and one pair of times, so a real change means a new plan: post the route again and take offers on it. A ten-minute shift in the pickup time is something to settle with your driver directly. Plans run a month at a time, which is short enough that a mid-year transfer does not leave you holding an arrangement you cannot use.
